| Q: |
Is there anything I need to do to notify my insurance company that I am seeking counseling services? |
| A: |
Yes! Quite often, an individual will need to phone the agency listed on the insurance card to get PREAUTHORIZATION. Preauthorization may include the first visit, or several sessions. Additionally, it pays to ask about EAP visits, as these are at no cost to the client.
